Behind Steadwork
Steadwork was founded by Shamshad Sheriff and Lavanya Kumar, bringing together experience in spatial design, business operations and delivery.
Their approach to Steadwork comes from having built and managed workplaces themselves, with an understanding of both how a space needs to work and what it takes to keep it working well.
The idea for Steadwork came from a need of our own. While looking for an office for our other business, we could not find a space that suited the way we wanted our team to work. We eventually rented a building and designed the interiors ourselves, shaping the space around our requirements.
The response was unexpectedly strong. When we offered some of the additional space to other companies, the interest was overwhelming. It made us realise that there was an opportunity to create workspaces that were thoughtfully designed, shaped around individual teams and professionally managed. That became the starting point for Steadwork.
